Tita F. Garcia, age 75, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11:03 AM at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
She was born on January 4, 1949 in Manadue Cebu, Philippines to Eusebio and Metea Madelie Fernandez. On March 13, 1970 she married Michael Garcia in The Philippines. Tita was an executive housekeeper at the Radison Hotel. She enjoyed gardening and loved going to casinos.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Garcia of Ft. Madison, IA; one daughter, Debbie Thomas of Moberly, MO; three sons, Gabriel (Helen) Garcia of Seattle, WA, Damian Garcia of Albuquerque, NM and Jacob Garcia of Cedar Rapids, IA; twenty-one grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Baltazar Fernandez of The Philippines. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends from 1-2:30 PM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
