Leadership program still accepting applications

Posted

Applications for participation in Lee County Leadership’s Class of 2025 are still being accepted at the Fort Madison Chamber of Commerce. Lee County Leadership is an interactive, research and place-based community development program that spans over the course of 8 months. This includes facilitated discussions with an instructor from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach as well as community visits, panel discussions and a trip to Des Moines for Southeast Iowa Days with local leaders.
The group will meet one full day a month from October to May. During the course, you’ll gain knowledge in identifying local issues and opportunities, building social capital, mobilizing resources for community action and much more! You’ll put these skills to good use while working on a community project submitted by local non-profit organizations.
The tuition investment for this program is $750 for Chamber Members. Employers often choose to cover the tuition, treating the course as professional development for their employees.
We hope you’ll highly consider having a member of your team join us as a participant in the Lee County Leadership Class of 2025. I’ve included a flyer for you to look over as well as the following link where you can apply:https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sv/gU8lq7Z/LCL2024Application
