Local canvases for raffle at historic depot

Wright photos donated for tourism and historical society fundraiser

FORT MADISON - As part of the River & Rail Weekend in Fort Madison and surrounding areas, two canvas photos – A Sleepy CB&Q, and Peering Through a Window In Time are being raffled off with proceeds benefitting Fort Madison Tourism Board and the Lee County Historical Society.
These are very limited editions and are only one of two copies created by photographer Larry Wright. This is the second year in a row that Wright has donated to the weekend.
Drawings will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Tourism Office in the Historical Santa Fe Depot Complex. You don't need not be present to win.
Tickets are 2 for $5 or 5 for $10 and can be purchased at the Amtrak Ticket Office, Tourism Office, or online using the provided QR code. Those wanting to look at the photo canvases can do so at the Tourism Office or Amtrak Station in Historic Santa Fe Depot Complex.
