04/04/22 – 3:08 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 4500 block of Avenue O.
04/04/22 – 6:36 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile, of Fort Madison, in the 1600 block of 20th Street, on charges of 1st offense OWI and 1st offense trespassing. He was released to his parents.
04/04/22 – 7:20 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 1000 block of Avenue D.
04/04/22 – 7:45 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Mitchell Cary Pfeifer, 55, Burlington, no location given, on a charge of driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/05/22 - 7:20 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1000 block of Avenue D.
04/05/22 - 11:22 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1700 block of 35th Street.
Lee County Sheriff Report
04/04/22 – 9:08 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident at Hwy. 218 and 255th Street where a semi-trailer had gotten stuck trying to navigate a u-turn. Another semi-trailer got stuck trying to take a private drive around the incident. No one was injured in either incident and property owners were contacted regarding the damage. No citations were reported.
04/05/22 - 3:48 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ryan Thomas Lilly, 23, of Burlington at the South Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for violation of probation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/05/22 - 4:44 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies cited Lacey Nicole Johnson, 41, of Quincy, in at Hwy. 218 and 170th Street on a charge of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana.
04/05/22 - 5:42 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies cited Donald Edward Clifford, 57, Fort Madison, in the 1500 block of Pilot Grove Road in West Point, on a charge of 4th degree theft. He was released on a promise to appear.
04/05/22 - 9:18 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joshua James Brown, 32, of Keosauqua, at the south Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
