09/20/24 – 8:30 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jessica Ann Miller, 34, of Fort Madison, in the 2100 block of Avenue E, on a charge of OWI. She was held in Lee County Jail.
09/20/24 – 4:46 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue.
09/21/24 – 5:11 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Alexander Michael Schweitzer, 28, of Fort Madison, in the 2000 block of Avenue M, on charges of public intoxication, interference with official acts, disorderly conduct, assault and domestic assault. He was held in Lee County Jail.
09/21/24 – 11:09 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Michael Eugene Cochran, Jr., 42, of Fort Madison, in the 2000 block of Avenue J, on a charge of domestic assault. He was held in Lee County Jail.

09/20/24 – 9:45 a.m. - Keokuk police arrested a 14-year-old male juvenile in the 2200 block of Middle Road on a charge of a minor using tobacco/vapor products. He was released to a parent.
09/20/24 – 10:16 a.m. – Keokuk police cited Jennifer Lynn Tipton, 47, of Hamilton, in the 300 block of N. Park Drive, on a charge of 5th degree theft.

09/21/24 – 8:42 p.m. – Keokuk police cited Cassandra Ann Cizek, 34, of Keokuk in the 300 block of U.S. 61 bypass on a charge of driving under suspension.
09/22/24 – 9:25 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Cole Michael Geltz, 27, of Keokuk, in the 200 block of N. 8th Street, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was held in Lee County Jail.
09/22/24 – 11:31 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Deuante DeShawn Dorsey, 22, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of N. 9th Street, on charges of driving while barred and interference with official acts. He was held in Lee County Jail.
Lee County Sheriff’s Report
09/20/24 – 9:38 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Francis Antonio Mansheim, 64, of Fort Madison, in the 2700 block of Chalk Ridge Road on charges of drug tax stamp violations, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. He was held in Lee County Jail.
09/20/24 – 12:52 p.m. – Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile from Ottumwa at the Southeast Iowa Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of criminal mischief.
09/20/24 – 12:52 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 1200 block of 150th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Melissa Deanna Hopp, 54, of Donnellson was following a grain trailer eastbound and lost control due to low visibility on gravel roads and struck a parked grain elevator. No injuries or citations were reported.
09/20/24 – 3:13 p.m. – Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile at the SEI Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of assault.
09/21/24 – 8:43 a.m. – Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 13-year-old female juvenile at the SEI Juvenile Detention Center on charge of assault with injury.
09/21/24 – 11:33 – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 61 South. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Ava Grace Cochran, 20, of Burlington, was southbound and lost control on the highway sliding into a ditch. No injuries or citations were reported.
09/22/24 – 6:42 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 near 260th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Harry Augustin, 64 of St. Petersburg, Fla., was southbound on 61 while waiting to turn towards 260th Street and struck a stopsign in the middle of the roadway. The vehicle ended up in a ditch but was able to get out. No injuries or citations were reported.
