Fort Madison Police Report
09/09/24 – 4:47 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the Fort Madison area.

Keokuk Police Report
09/08/24 – 6:08 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the 3700 block of Main Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Charles Bennett IV, 66, of Keokuk was eastbound on Main Street and struck the rear end of a vehicle driven by Michael Damien McNitt, 32, of Keokuk who had slowed to turn right. Bennett was charged with operating a vehicle without a registration, failure to provide insurance, failure to stop in an assured distance and driving while license suspended. No injuries were reported.
09/09/24 – 9:45 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 700 block of K Street
09/09/24 – 10:01 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 14-year-old male juvenile in the 2200 block of Middle Road on a charge of minor use of tobacco/vapor products.
09/09/24 – 11:52 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile in the 1700 block of Fairlane on a charge of 1st-degree harassment. He was taken to the Southeast Iowa Juvenile Detention Center in Montrose.
09/09/24 – 12:28 p.m. - Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 700 block of Blondeau St.
09/09/24 – 3:49 p.m. - Keokuk police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 300 block of N. Park Drive.
09/09/24 – 4:57 p.m. - Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident at Main Street and N. Park Drive.
09/09/24 – 5:06 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Isaac Isaiah Seay, 42, of Keokuk, at Johnson Street Road and McKinley Avenue on a charge of driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released.
09/09/24 – 7:05 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Johnson Street.
09/09/24 – 8:44 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Dereck Franklin K. Harwood, 42, of Keokuk, in the 1300 block of Main Street on a charge of failure to appear. He was held in Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
09/09/24 – 9:15 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cornelious Tyrone Brewer, 32, of Keokuk, in the 100 block of N. 16th Street on warrants for voluntary absence from custody and a judgment hold, and on a charge of driving while license revoked or denied. He was held in Lee County Jail.
