Gerald Lee “Jerry” Clark, 75, of Keokuk, IA died Monday, April 17, 2023 at his home.
He was born June 17, 1947 in Quincy, IL the son of Leo and Letha Scott Clark. He graduated from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, IL with the class of 1966.
On October 17, 1992 Jerry was united in marriage to Susan Shimmin in Plymouth, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include three step-sons, Brad Gilpin (Jeannie) of Keokuk, Scott Gilpin (Denise) of Burlington, IA and Michael Gilpin of Keokuk, five grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by two brothers, Gene Clark of Texas and Jackie Clark of Macomb, IL, one sister, Joyce Schoonover of Colchester, IL and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jerry had been employed as an EMT for Tri State Ambulance Service for fourteen years in Plymouth and later worked at Memorial Hospital in Carthage, IL. He then was employed by the Mississippi Terrace in Keokuk as after hours emergency personnel for nineteen years.
Jerry enjoyed watching YouTube and playing card games, especially pitch.
There will be no services.
