FLOOD ALERT

FORT MADISON - Volunteers are being organized to help fill sand bags as flood waters are expected to rise above flood stage in certain part of the city along the Mississippi River.
Volunteers are asked to bring shovels and gloves if possible as supplies are limited.
Sandbagging will be continue Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will take place in the CB&Q parking lot.
