Tammy Elaine Russell, 56, of Keokuk passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at her home.
Tammy was born to Tom and Sharon (Hansard) Clawson on May 20th, 1968, in Dayton, Ohio. She previously worked at Hardee's and Lexington Square. She was united in marriage to Harold Russell on July 9, 2014. Tammy was a kind and loving person. Anywhere around the water was her happy place and she enjoyed taking pictures and working in the yard. Above all else, she loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Crystal Hansard. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Harold Russell of Keokuk, six children, Heather (Corey) Howes, Shawn Hansard, Elizabeth Mortimer, Jason McKinley, Kurtis (Daryus) Russell all of Keokuk, and Kristin (Mike) McKnight of West Point, IA; three siblings: Tommy Clawson and Jesse Clawson both of Ottumwa, and Diana (Jeff) Springer of Hampton, IA; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family will meet friends for a carry-in dinner 3-6 PM Saturday July 6th at the Oddfellows Lodge at 1720 Blondeau.
