Blair Lowell Boyd, 69, of Bonaparte, Iowa, passed away at 8:35 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua, after battling a long battle with cancer.
 
He was born on October 3, 1953, the son of Gerald and Jessie Louise (Pittman) Boyd, of Farmington, Iowa. 
 
He is survived by his daughter: Stacey Mae (Rodney) Warner; two grandsons: Colton and Scott Warner; granddaughter: Frankie Jo Warner; brothers: Floyd Boyd and Edward Allen Boyd; sisters: (Blair’s twin) Brenda Louise (Randy) Cook, Connie (Jeff Oaks) Boyd, Ceceila Poole and Julie (Stephen) Krauter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents: Gerald and Jessie Boyd; sister: Marvina Lee Sullivan; brothers: Marlin Dean Boyd; sister in-law: Joyce Boyd and brother in-law: Donnie Poole.
 
He attended Harmony High School. Later working for Conrad America, where he spent most of his working career and retired from. He loved loved fishing on the Des Moines and Skunk River, hunting, his truck and especially loved spending time with family and friends.
 
His body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation. 
 
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
