Randy James Faulkner, 60, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 4:05 PM at his home.
He was born on February 13, 1963, in LaHarpe, IL, to James and Susan (Long) Faulkner. Randy was a truck driver for Shellman’s for several years, and in his last few years, he was in parts service for CarQuest. He spent every day with his beloved dog and best friend, Mika. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Randy enjoyed working on and restoring vehicles. He loved sharing his knowledge of cars with his sons, grandsons and customers. He was a lover of 70's and 80's Rock and Roll, Candlebox and Lynard Skynard being among his favorites. Randy enjoyed joking around, and his eyes would light up with laughter and mischief. His one-of-a-kind sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Survivors include two sons, Corey (Jessica) Faulkner of Salem, IA, and Brannnen “Blaze” (Paden) Faulkner of Lincoln, NE; four grandsons, Aaron, Carson, Gage and Clayton Faulkner; his father, Jim Faulkner of Carthage, IL; two half-brothers, Shawn (Katie) Stewart of Washington and Jamie Faulkner of Carthage; a stepsister, Tammy Rampley of Burlington; and many aunts, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Sue and Danny Boline; his stepmother, Linda Faulkner; a sister, Becky; and a brother, Eric.
Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
