Bonnie J. Mueller, 80, of Muscatine, IA and formerly of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 1:31 PM at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

She was born on May 28, 1943 in Ft. Madison to Willis and Lelia Tollman Eschman.  On September 5, 1964 she married David G. Mueller and he passed away on July 5, 2011.  Bonnie worked at Sheaffer Pen Company in her early years.  She then worked in the cafeteria at Aquinas and later retired from Shopko.  She loved to shop, especially for her grandchildren.  Bonnie enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, sewing and crocheting.  She loved reading the newspaper and knew all about what was going on as she clipped articles and news releases. She also enjoyed spending time and visiting with her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Craig (Deb) Mueller of Bettendorf and Brian (Cindy) Mueller of Muscatine; six grandchildren; Betsy, Megan, Ryan, Tanner, Alex and Tyler; nine great grandchildren, Meaghan, Xaidyn, Shane, Rylynn, Evan, Scarlet, Remington, Eleanor and Hattie; one brother, Rod Eschman of Burlington; one sister, Letha Barnes of Paxton, IL; nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Bob.

Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11 AM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Reverend Dean Graber officiating.  The family will meet with friends from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
