Gail Nadine Love, 79, of Keokuk, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at River Hills Village in Keokuk.

Gail was born on September 26, 1943, in Woodward, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Bertha (McHaney) Holford. On June 28, 1988, she was united in marriage to William Love in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2009.

Gail was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and in her younger years, was employed as a nurse. Later on, she was self-employed in sales. She loved selling at yard sales and flea markets, and spent her free time candle-making and sitting in nature.

Gail is survived by her son James Love of Hamilton, Illinois; Joann (Brad) Davis of Wapakoneta, Ohio; Marie (John) Hatfield of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and six grandchildren: Lori (Matt) Lacey, Edwin Lavonn, Alex Jockers, Allison (Zach) Malm, Jesse Johnson and Collette Love.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Richard and James Holford.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
