TEESDALE
Robert Eugene Teesdale, 58, of Fort Madison, Iowa, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2023 at his home.
Robert was born March 17, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Robert Terry and Ruth (Kinney) Teesdale.
Mr. Teesdale was a graduate in Nauvoo-Colusa High School, where he enjoyed participating in basketball and baseball. Following high school he attended Wichita Automotive & Electronics Institute in Wichita, Kansas. He worked as a welder and in construction all of his life.
He was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed hunting, camping and especially fishing.
Survivors include one daughter: Michelle (Sheldon) Martin of Donnellson, Iowa; his mother: Ruth Teesdale of Colusa, Illinois; four grandchildren: Mariah, Macy, Landon and Layna Martin; one nephew: Terry (Brittany) Teesdale of LaHarpe and one niece: Nichole Beach of Fort Madison.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister: Angela Ruth Kershner.
Cremation has been entrusted to Banks & Beals Funeral Home.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City, Illinois.
