MECHANIC CLASS II
Lee County is currently accepting applications for a Mechanic Class II to work out of our Central Shop near Donnellson, IA. The successful applicant will perform skilled mechanical work in the maintenance and repair of vehicles, and construction and maintenance equipment and all related mechanical equipment including but not limited to performing diagnostics; electrical repairs; gas welding and cutting; arc and mig welding; and work on hydraulic components. Maintains records of all parts and tools used in repair and assist in inventory of parts and equipment. Requires a high school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent and must possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license with air brake and tanker endorsements or the ability to obtain Class A within 60 days of hire.
