Macksten Hayes Buttz, two month old son of Brandon Buttz and Tayler Welborn passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
He was born April 21, 2023 at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Macksten was a beautiful baby boy who touched so many lives in such a brief time. He laughed and smiled, bringing joy to everyone around him. Macksten loved when he was being read to and was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Macksten is survived by his parents, Brandon and Tayler of Canton, MO, one sister, Myra Welborn and one brother, McCoy Welborn both of Canton, MO, maternal grandparents, Matt and Michelle Kirchner, paternal grandparents, Lisa and Brett Buttz, maternal great-grandparents, David and Susan Smith, Glenn and Teri Welborn and Clinton and Dixie Kirchner and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 3-4 p.m., Friday, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with family meeting with friends at that time.
