Misty Janay Hallman, 50, of Nauvoo, Illinois, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
 
She was born on August 11, 1972, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Pat Hugh and Linda (Schaerrer) Hallman. She Married Brian Stamey, they later divorced.
 
Survivors include her parents: Pat and Ramona Hallman; Siblings: Crystal Gibbs, Chanda Bentley, Philip Hallman, Melanie McClure, Isaac Hallman, Eli Hallman, Jack Hallman, Angelique Bodine, Chantelle Harrison, Hyrum Hallman, Nathan Bevins, Sarah Bevins and Andrea Bevins. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; mother: Linda and sister: Pamela Bevins.
 
Misty was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed playing darts and competed all over the country and China. She also enjoyed cooking and teaching/spending time with children.
 
Her body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz - Banks and Beals Funeral Home for cremation.
 
A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nauvoo.
 
A memorial has been established in her memory.
