Pen City Current obituary – Charles W. Dickinson, 64, formerly of Fort Madison

Word has been received of the death of Charles W. (Chuck) Dickinson, formerly of Ft Madison, IA. Chuck was born September 1958 in Keokuk, IA to Beverly and Patricia Dickinson. He graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1977, and attended Central College in Pella IA, where he was active in the bands, and served as Drum Major. Chuck was also a member of the Men of Note Barbershop Chorus of Plano, Texas and sang in church choirs as a member of the Christian Church in Fort Madison and in Carrollton, TX. 
Chuck is survived by his father, B.W. Dickinson of Johns Creek, GA; brother, Craig and wife Debra; sister, Cathy Puechner and husband Richard. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Dickinson in 2017, and his grandparents, William and Thora O’Brien and Marion and Beverly W Dickinson, Sr.
Private services for Chuck will be held later. Memorials may be made to the donor’s preference, or Keokuk Union Depot Foundation in Keokuk, IA.
