Tonya Beach, age 39, of Fort Madison, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born on July 17, 1984 to Ernest and Tamara Enke Beach in Ft. Madison. Tonya was the owner and operator of Hag with a Rag Cleaning Service, was a caregiver and also worked at SubArena. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, going to yard sales and always had a smile on her face. Her favorite quotes were “Living the Dream, Perrrrrfect and Food Fight” Most of all Tonya loved her family, especially being with her kids.
Survivors include her daughter, Adrienne Britt; her sons, Trevor Rangel and Gavin Beach all of Ft. Madison; her father, Ernie (Trudy) Beach of Denmark and her mother, Tammy Beach of Wapello; her sister, Tara (Daniel) Nolan of Donnellson; her brothers, Kyle Beach of Donnellson and Brian Beach of Dallas City; her grandparents, Pork and Vicki Beach of Denmark; her beloved dogs, Stormy Rae and Shadow and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred and Ginny Beach; uncles, Victor Enke and Gene Enke and good friend, Eileen Peitz.
The family will meet with friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 4 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jon Heyland officiating. Tonya requested that those attending to wear lively, cheerful colors. Burial will be at a later date in Denmark Cemetery.
