Thomas L. Main, 68, of Ft. Madison passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 4:40 AM at his home.
He was born on July 27, 1955 in Marceline, MO to Leland Leroy and Mabel Dorrell Main. On March 1, 1975 he married Joy Sappington at the Pleasant Grove Church in rural Bucklin, MO. Tom was a conductor for BNSF and retired after thirty nine years of service. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed carpentry work and going to breakfast with his friends at Hy-Vee
Survivors include his wife, Joy Main of Ft. Madison; two daughters, Amber (Nathan) Wood of Brookfield, MO and Betsy (Matt) Hayes of Denmark; one son, Travis (Heather) Main of Ft. Madison; four grandchildren, Regan, Garret, Anissa and Cadie; his father, Leroy Main of Macon, MO and one sister, Debbie (Thomas) Morris of Platte City, MO. Tom was preceded in death by his Mother and grandparents.
