Kenneth E. Ough, 88, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 11:47 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his home.  He was born on November 21, 1934 in Mendota, IL to Robert & Dorothy Blotch Ough.  He was a lab technician at Crandon’s Paper Mill and retired as a storeroom manager at Climax in Fort Madison for many years and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He married Janet G. Kelly on July 21, 2001 in Fort Madison, IA.  He was a past Exalted Ruler for the Fort Madison Elk’s Lodge and also a member of the Fort Madison Eagle’s Club, where he loved to volunteer his cooking skills.  He enjoyed playing pool, riding his Harley and spending time with his family & friends.

Kenny is survived by his wife: Janet Ough of Fort Madison, IA; 2-sons: Randy & Ronnie Ough of Fort Madison, IA; 3-step daughters: Maureen Krell of Des Moines, IA, Stacy (Gregg) Prskalo of Frankfort, IL & Colleen (Nick) Lacny of Chicago, IL; 13-grandchildren; 1-great granddaughter and 1-half-brother: David Ough of Florida.  He was preceded in death by: his parents, 1-step daughter: Amanda Kelly & 1-brother: Robert Ough.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Heyland officiating.  A memorial has been established in Kenny’s memory.  Online condolences to the Ough family may be left at the King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory website: www.kinglynk.com.
