Jane M. Koellner, 86, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at The Kensington. She was born on August 25, 1936 in Fort Madison, IA to Albert & Rose Otte Pollmeier. She married William H. Koellner on August 30, 1958 in Fort Madison, IA. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2018. She was a homemaker and worked at Lampe Drug Store in Fort Madison. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and PEO. She enjoyed baking, cross stitch and playing bridge.
Jane is survived by: 2-sons: Tim (Pam) Koellner of Hollister, MO & Mark Koellner of Fort Madison, IA; 3-daughters: Ann (Tony) Pesnell of Tucson, AZ, Kelly (Ernie) Marsan of Huntington, CT & Sarah (Tony) Hughes of Urbandale, IA; 1-granddaughter: Hannah Hughes of Urbandale, IA; 7-step grandchildren; 12-step great grandchildren; and 1-sister: Jeanette (Ed) Rapier of Auston, TX. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 1-granddaughter: Shelby Hughes, 1-step granddaughter: Falynn Lewis and 1-sister: LaVerne Menke.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Ss. Mary & Joseph Church. Burial will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Holy Family Parish.
