Cindy Sue Swinderman, 67, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at her home. She was born on February 6, 1956 in Keokuk, IA to Wilbur & Florence Freese Swinderman. She married Kenneth Sheets and they later divorced. She worked for the Sheaffer Pen Company for 30 years and later for 10 years at Fort Madison Community Hospital as a Lab Technician. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and making blankets for them. When she was younger, she loved softball and taking her kids sledding.
Cindy is survived by: 2-sons: Keegan (Lara White) Sheets of Fort Madison, IA & Cameron (Beth) Sheets of West Des Moines, IA; 4-grandchildren; 1-sister: Carol (Walter) Gaspard of Houston, TX & 1-nephew: Nicholas Gaspard of Texas. She was preceded in death by: her parents, 1-grandson: Noah & 2-brothers: Dan & Robert.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.
