Cindy Ann Cumbie, 62, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 9:27 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Fort Madison. She was born on February 24, 1961 in Davenport, IA to Jerald W. & Annamay McKee Kephart Miller. She married George Ellis Cumbie on August 9, 1996 in Lakeland, FL. She was a homemaker and a CNA and made amazing crochet dolls. She enjoyed cooking and going on drives with Ellis in his semi-truck.
Cindy is survived by: her husband: Ellis Cumbie of Fort Madison, IA; 1-daughter: Jennifer (Stephen) Thompson of St. Louis, MO; 1-son: Christopher Humphries of Lakeland, FL; 1-step son: George Allan (Raquel) Cumbie of Ocala, FL; 3-grandchildren; 1-sister: Vicki (Lester) Fout of Fort Madison, IA & 1-brother: Michael (Gayla Dobbs-Boan) Kephart of Ponce De Leon, MO. She was preceded in death by: her parents and 1-grandson, Joseph Cumbie.
