James “Jim” Ronald Ricker, 70 of Hamilton, IL passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
He was born May 15, 1953 in Keokuk, IA the son of Ronald and Geneal Blan Ricker.  He graduated from Keokuk High School with the class of 1971 and later attended Southeast Community College in Keokuk.
He had been employed by Roquette in Keokuk for fifteen years, until his retirement and then worked at Deer Run Golf Course in Hamilton, IL, where he worked as the general manager of the club house.
Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing golf and working crossword puzzles.  Jim was best known for his cooking and barbeque.  He loved to make meals for his friends and family at Deer Run to enjoy.
He is survived by one son, Joshua Ricker (Jill), one granddaughter, Ella Ricker and one grandson, Maxwell Ricker all of Hannibal, MO.  He is also survived by one brother, Philip Ricker (Frances) of Ashville, NC, one sister, Lori Ricker of The Colony, TX, one niece, Taya Ricker of New York, NY and one nephew, Alex Ricker of Goose Creek, SC, his significant other, Jackie Bodner of Keokuk and his mother, Geneal Ricker of Keokuk.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Deer Run Golf Course.
