Ricky James Wieprecht, 66, of Warsaw, IL passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at his home.
He was born February 24, 1958 in Keokuk, IA the son of Richard and Virginia Weatherspoon Wieprecht.
On June 14, 2014 Ricky was united in marriage to Angie Arthur at Calvary Foursquare Church in Keokuk.  She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Ashley Wagner (Wesley) of Keokuk and Tiffany Stice (Gabe) of Hamilton, IL, two sons, Chris Korschgen (Misty) of Henryetta, OK and Aaron Land (Tammy) of Ewing, MO, eleven grandchildren, Hannah Frakes, Jeffree Arthur and Kalvyn Shearer all of Keokuk, Avery Harrison and Zoe Harrison both of Hamilton, IL, Aurora Cale, Cruz Camp and Zen Camp all of Warsaw, IL and Jaxtynn Land, Winston Land and Laylah Land all of Ewing, MO.  He is also survived by one niece, Jamie Agnew of Hamilton, IL and one nephew, Jason Agnew of Keokuk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sherry Agnew and one brother in law, Leroy Agnew. 
Ricky had been employed by Gates Air in Quincy, IL and he later worked at .R.E.M. in Keokuk.
He was a member of Warsaw Assembly of God, Band of Brothers and Calvary Foursquare in Keokuk.
Ricky enjoyed collecting books, especially books about Christianity and history, loved playing the guitar, fishing and watching western shows on television.  He loved spending time with his grandbabies and discussing science with them.  Ricky was a people person by nature and enjoyed good political discussions.  He loved all kinds of animals and had many pets over the years.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastors Terry and Jared Massey officiating. 
 Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, Tuesday, at the funeral home with family meeting with friends from 9-10 a.m.
