Vigen Memorial Home obituary - Kenneth Billings, 79, Keokuk

Kenneth “Chick” Billings, 79 of Keokuk, IA passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. 
He was born February 16, 1944, in Keokuk, IA the son of Albert and Dorothy Mc Coy Billings.
Kenneth worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many trucking companies including Holland Trucking.  He was also employed with Jerry’s Welding as a fabricator. 
Kenneth enjoyed racing and building stock cars and drag racing.  He also enjoyed drag car racing and had a drag car named Chick-N-Hutch which is where he got the nickname of “Chick”.     
He is survived by two sons, Jason Billings of Keokuk, Jermey Billings (Amy) of Keokuk, seven grandchildren, Zack Lovell, Blayn Billings, Hank Billings, Kaylee Feikert, Chantel Bergheger, Greg Jones and Alexis Billings, three great grandchildren, Eastyn Billings, Bella Dunne and Auri Harris.  He is also survived by four sisters, Janet Rossi, Mary Smith (Carroll), Jean Logsdon (John) and Kathy Young (Jim), two sisters-in-law Carol Sue Billings and Judy Billings along with many nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ed Billings, Wayne Billings, Oscar Billings and James Billings. 
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA.
Visitation will be held after 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the funeral home with family meeting with friends from 5-7 p.m.
