Jack Lee Brisby, 91 of Montrose, IA passed away June 16, 2024 at home.
He was born September 10, 1932 in Keokuk, IA the son of Allie and Hilda Fowler Brisby.  Jack graduated from Montrose High School in Montrose, IA.
Jack was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Korean War.
On June 17, 1956 Jack was united in marriage to Shirley Taylor in Hamilton, IL.  She preceded him in death on May 17, 2011.
Jack had been employed by Hubinger’s in Keokuk for thirty-one years, until his retirement in 1994.
He was a member of the Montrose Presbyterian Church.
Jack liked all types of sports, especially NASCAR and football.  He loved working jigsaw puzzles, spending time with his family and taking trips to Branson, MO.
He is survived by one son, Craig Brisby (Bonnie) of Montrose, IA, one daughter, Lori Runge (Chris) of Garland, TX, five grandchildren, Brandy Dooley (Rick) of Hamilton, IL, Alma Needham ( fiancé Gary) of Montrose, IA, Michelle Ledbetter (Tim) of New Baden, IL, Amber Runge of Garland TX and Christopher Runge of Garland, TX and fifteen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by one sister, Ruby Westermeyer of Keokuk. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Eugene Brisby, one sister, Mary Petty and one great-grandson.\
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, IA with Heather Fuger officiating.
Memorials may be made to Lee County Hospice.
