James “Jim” Allen Wilson, 70, of Nauvoo, Illinois, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at his home.
Born on September 11, 1953, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Woodrow and Loretta (Tucker) Wilson. He married Linda Pilkington on August 19, 1989 in Chicago, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife Linda; son Tucker (Rana) Wilson of Niota, Illinois; daughter Natasha Wilson of Salem, Iowa; eight grandchildren: Nevaeh, Jeremiah, Avianna, Siouxfirra, Lorretta, Jebediah, Lakota, and Taccoa; brother Joe (Vicky) Wilson of Dallas City, Illinois; sister Sandy Hopper of Nauvoo, Illinois; brother-in-law Joe Meierotto; and sister-in-law Carole Wilson
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Bev Meierotto, Gina Nicol, Carol Lange, and Jeanie Fortado; four brothers: Thomas Wilson, Woodrow “Mick” Wilson, Hank Wilson, and  Jack Schuck.
Jim graduated from Nauvoo-Colusa High School in 1971, he worked in masonry for forty years. He volunteered at the Nauvoo Food Pantry. Jim enjoyed gardening, walking, and being outside.
His body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz-Banks & Beals Funeral Home for cremation.
The family will recieve friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday, June 8, 2024 at The Schmitz-Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Nauvoo.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
