David Arthur Myers, 61, of Niota, Illinois, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
He was born on April 27, 1963, in LaHarpe, Illinois, the son of Larry, Sr. and Janice Faye (Moore) Myers.
He is survived by his brother: Jason (Nicole Morrow) Boyle of Niota, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father: Clarence Robert Boyle; brother: Larry and grandmother: May Moore.
David worked as a welder. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for decoys and helping T&S Farms.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Appanoose Township Cemetery in rural Niota, Illinois.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Wye Not in Niota, Illinois.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
