This award demonstrates our commitment to using technology to inspire and improve education.”
“Central Lee’s focus on supporting staff with technologies has been central to our instructional approach,” said Angie Fransk, Curriculum and Instruction Director. “Our ongoing efforts to ensure a strong technology infrastructure and support for innovation have been critical in advancing our educational goals. This distinction reflects the hard work of our entire district in leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning.”
“Central Lee has been a 1:1 technology district for over a decade, and our shift to iPads in 2018 ensured all K-12 students have equal access to technology,” said Kris Brewer, Director of Technology. “We’ve provided extensive professional development on instructional use of technology, including attending national and state conferences, training instructional coaches to become technology leaders, and inviting national and state experts to lead professional development. Our Apple Distinguished District status highlights our commitment to enhancing education through technology, and we look forward to building on this success.”
