Andrew Philip Boylan, 30, formerly of Nauvoo, Illinois and Fort Madison, Iowa, passed from this world on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at his home in Danville, Illinois.
He was born on November 20, 1993, the son of Philip and Margaret (Allen) Boylan. 
Andrew graduated in Fort Madison. He later joined the United States Marines, completing basic training at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California, then he served for two years in North Carolina.
Andrew worked several jobs in his short life, with his favorite being a deckhand on a Mississippi River tow boat. He had a huge heart, a friendly smile, and he easily made friends wherever he went.
He is survived by his mother: Margaret (Bill) Schneider of Nauvoo, Illinois; father: Philip Boylan of Fort Madison, Iowa; grandmother: Rita Allen; brothers: Lucas (Cortney) Boylan and David Richards; sisters: Michelle (Eric) Grimes and Mary (Brendon Seigfried) Richards; nephews: Cooper, Brody Boylan, Eli, and Elliott Grimes; niece: Zoey Grimes; aunts: Penelope (Robert) Jastrzab and Therese (Tom) Hayes; uncles: Douglas Boylan, Philip Crull, Pat (Annie) Allen, Mike Allen, John (Debbie) Allen, and Charlie (Ruth) Allen. Also surviving are several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clifford and Francis Boylan, John C. Allen; aunt Debora Crull and uncle William Boylan.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, a Schmitz - Banks and Beals Funeral Home in Nauvoo, Illinois.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Nauvoo, Illinois with Father Tony Trosley as celebrant.
Burial will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
A memorial has been established in his memory for the Veterans Administration or Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School.
