We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Teddy (Ted) Rex Pearsall. Ted was born October 26, 1941, in Morning Sun, Iowa to Lloyd Demar Pearsall and Verle Irene (Pickerel) Pearsall. He peacefully left this world on June 19th, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in Burlington, Iowa.
Ted started working for multiple farmers at the age of 13 and later became a shop supervisor for Churchill Truck Lines for 27 years. He was known to all as a "Jack of all trades".
He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a crew chief on a T33. He was also a proud member of the Shriners, 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the Moose for many years.
Ted Married Linda Charbonneau-Schnedler, and resided in Florida for some time. They later divorced and moved back to Iowa, where they remained close friends and loved each other very much.
Teddy enjoyed buying, fixing, and selling things on Marketplace. His fur baby Baxter was his constant companion and went everywhere with him.
As his health declined, his daughter Terri took over his care and was lovingly known by all as Daddy's Girl.
Teddy is survived by two daughters Terri (Bob Dorothy) Self of Fort Madison and Melody (John) Meyer, of Lakeland, FL; one son Rodney (Kandi) Pearsall of Lakeland, FL; a step-son Kent (Sue) Davis of Logansport, LA; one sister Charlene Robinson of Knoxville, IL; a special niece Diane (Sam) Cherrington of Cameron, IL; three very special grandchildren Kristin (Jeremy) Sullivan of Knoxville, IL, Tyler Hillery of Galesburg, IL, Dakota (Amelia) Hillery of Helsinki, Finland, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
