LaVonne Jean Hoffman, 74, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 9:37 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington, IA. She was born on January 17, 1950 in Wadena, MN to Blanche E. Bellmore. She married Larry Richard Hoffman on September 11, 1971 in Renville, MN. She was a cosmetologist for 20 years, the manager for the Hair Club for Men in Bloomington, MN for 4 years and lastly was a property manager in Texas. She enjoyed horses, cooking, fishing, flowers and was an avid hockey fan.
LaVonne is survived by: her husband: Larry Hoffman of Fort Madison, IA; 1-sister: Katherine Finley of Austin, MN & her stepfather: George Layland of Newport Richey, FL.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will immediately follow with Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiating. A memorial has been established in her memory.
