Kathleen “Kathy” L. Vincent, 42, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at her home.
She was born on November 28, 1981 in Ft. Madison to Lewis and Debra Riis Vincent.  Kathy married Colin Poetting in 2005 and they later divorced.  She worked in the vault at Catfish Bend Casino for several years and was also the owner and operator of Lil’ Lewie’s.  She was currently a Supervisor over the Quality Inspectors at IAAP.  Kathy enjoyed gardening, art,drawing and watching bands.  She was an avid gamer and was known as “Meat Cow”.  Kathy had a contagious smile and was known and loved by many, she would brighten a room the moment she walked in. 
Survivors include her son, Lewis Poetting of Ft. Madison; a stepdaughter; her mother, Debra Vincent of Ft. Madison; two sisters, Eileen (Doug) Sweezer of Winfield, IA and Rianna (James) Ralph of Nauvoo, IL; one niece Liana; two nephews, Dane and Kade and her beloved dogs and cat, Lardo, Rudy and Precious; two step daughters, Minerva and Natalia and her former boyfriend, Tony Damico.  She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents and several aunts and uncles. 
 Friends may call after 2 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory where the family will meet with friends from 4-6 PM.  A private family burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
