Adam K. Hayes, 40, of Farmington passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:13 PM at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 29, 1983 in Keosauqua and was the son of Gary and Linda Underwood. Adam worked at Silgan Containers for several years. He and Ashley loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding side by sides. Most of all, Adam loved spending time with his family, especially being with his children, Hudson and Hinnsley.
Survivors include the love of his life and fiancé, Ashley Strunk of Farmington; his children, Hudson and Hinnsley Hayes; his mother, Linda Underwood of Ft. Madison; four sisters, Robin Whitaker, Nicole Lampe and Hattie Kemp all of Ft. Madison and Heather Hayes of Burlington and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Underwood and his grandparents.
Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will meet with friends from 2-4 PM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
