King-Lynk Funeral Home obituary - Steven A. Koser, 78, Fort Madison

Stephen A. Koser, 78, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.  He was born on May 11, 1946 in Des Moines, IA to Dr. Donald C. & Janet Ashman Koser.  He was an engineer on the Santa Fe Railroad and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam war in the Photo Intelligence Department.  He married Rhonda L. McChesney on June 21, 1975 in Pontoosuc, IL.  He loved boating at the Lake of the Ozarks and loved running errands and chauffeuring his grandchildren.  He could never leave the room without getting a hug.  He adored his 1979 Ford Bronco and his 2010 Nissan Z convertible. 
Steve is survived by: his wife: Rhonda Koser of Fort Madison, IA; 2-sons: Joe (Nichole) Koser of Eldridge, IA & Nate (Misty) Koser of Denmark, IA; 1-daughter: Ferra (Michael) Schinstock of Denmark, IA; 9-grandchildren: Chandler Johnson, Gabriel Koser, Mason Koser, Ames Schinstock, Macy Koser, Mira Koser, Madden Koser, Azen Schinstock, Rhett Schinstock & 1-brother: John (Beverly) Koser of Bloomington, MN.  He was preceded in death by: his parents & 1-sister.
