Tamara Denison, 49, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:46 PM at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

She was born on July 25, 1972 in Chambersburg, PA to James and Carolyn Woodall Denison.  She was confirmed of the Lutheran faith and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.  Tammy graduated from Lancaster High School in Texas; being in a military family she relocated to Colorado where she attended Front Range College.  She worked at Microsemi Corporation for sixteen years.  In 2007 Tammy relocated to Ft. Madison due to health-related conditions.

Tammy was a very caring, considerate and thoughtful person.  She always accepted the gifts God gave her and living her life with no regrets. She was an avid Elvis fan, enjoyed social media, collecting postcards, playing bingo and Mexican Train.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Denison of Ft. Madison; many cousins with whom she was close to and her cat, Bright Eyes.  She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Michael.

Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. Christopher Roepke officiating.  The family will meet with friends from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.  Burial will be in Claypoole Cemetery.
