Connie R. Bunker, 76, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022 at The Madison. She was born on February 5, 1946 in Fort Madison, IA to Raymond & Myrtle Miller Pohlpeter. She married Robert J. Bunker on February 6, 1965 in Fort Madison, IA. He preceded her in death on August 15, 2021. She worked at the Sheaffer Pen Company for 40+ years and was a member of Holy Family Parish.
Connie is survived by: 1-daughter: Terry (Steve) Ruble of Fort Madison, IA; her adopted daughter: Shelly Fraise of Fort Madison, IA; 1-sister: Peggy Pohlpeter of Fort Madison, IA; 1-brother: Larry (Frances) Pohlpeter of Terrel, OK and 1-sister-in-law: Glenda Pohlpeter of Des Moines, IA. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 5-sisters: Betty Glassford, Mary Lou Fairlie, Shirley Black, Sylvia Pohlpeter & Carmen Pohlpeter, 5-brothers: Raymond Jr., Richard, Paul, Royce & Rolland Pohlpeter.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Sacred Heart Cemetery with Rev.
