07/01/24 – 12:49 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Michael Eugene Cochran, 41, of Fort Madison, in the 1900 block of Avenue G, on a charge of assault, and violation of a no-contact order. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/02/24 – 1:35 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Taylor Ross Sorce, 38, of Fort Madison, in the 4900 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for 5th-degree theft.

Keokuk Police Report
06/04/24 – 1:51 p.m. – Keokuk Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Main Street. According to the report, a motorcycle driven by Drake Joseph Fosdyck, 23, of Keokuk was eastbound on Main Street when it had to crashed to avoid striking an unidentified red SUV that turned left from Main Street onto N. Park Drive. Fosdyck was transported to SEI Regional Medical Center in Fort Madison for injuries.
06/28/24 – 10:07 a.m. – Keokuk Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 3000 block of Main Street.
06/28/24 – 6:36 p.m. - Keokuk Police arrested Joshua John Daniel, 38, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of Park Drive on charges of sexual abuse enticing a minor under the age of 16. He was held at Lee County Jail.
06/28/24 – 11:48 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Randall William Jay Johnston, 21, of Dallas City, in the 100 block of N. 5th Street, on charges of OWI and having an open container. He was held at Lee County Jail.
06/29/24 – 1:29 a.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Charles Heston Smith, Jr., 43, of Keokuk, on charges of violation of a no-contact order and providing false identification. He was held at Lee County Jail.
06/29/24 – 1:41 a.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Heather Marie Koita, 45, of Keokuk, in the 100 block of Water Street, on a charge of violating a no-contact order. She was held at Lee County Jail.
06/29/24 – 3:11 a.m.- Keokuk Police arrested a 17-year-old female juvenile in the 200 block of N. 3rd Street on a charge of OWI. He was released to a guardian.

06/29/24 – 7:47 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Ryan Matthew Hanes, 24, of Keokuk in the 100 block of Water Street on warrants for 1st-degree burglary and assault with bodily injury. He was held at Lee County Jail.
06/29/24 – 9:26 p.m. – Keokuk Police cited David Gerard Baum, 61, of Keokuk, in the 700 block of Main Street, on a charge of assault with bodily injury.
06/30/24 – 3:06 a.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Lucky Shania Ackley-King, 27, of Keokuk, on charges of eluding, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. He was held at Lee County Jail.
06/30/24 – 9:33 a.m. - Keokuk Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 200 block of Hwy. 61 bypass.
06/30/24 – 10:45 a.m. - Keokuk Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 500 block of Morgan Street.

06/30/24 – 11:06 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile in the 100 block of S. 16th Street on charge of illegal fireworks. He was released to a guardian.
06/30/24 – 11:06 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested 17-year-old male in the 100 block, on a charge of illegal fireworks. He was released to a guardian.
06/30/24 – 10:45 a.m. – Keokuk Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 500 block of Morgan Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Tiffany Christine Ritchey, 31, of Keokuk was backing from a stall and struck a vehicle driven by Deahjae Deveyon Seay, 23, of Keokuk. No injuries were reported and Ritchey was cited for failure to provide insurance and failure to yield.
06/30/24 – 11:48 a.m. – Keokuk Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 35th Street and Main Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Richard Earl Varner, 37, of Keokuk turned onto 35th Street facing north from Main and struck a vehicle driven by Kevin Michael McCrea, 37, of Montrose. Varner was cited for failure to yield. No injuries were reported.
07/01/24 – 9:14 a.m. – Keokuk Police cited Baltazar Grant Alvarez, 43, of Keokuk in the 500 block of Blondeau Street, on a charge of assault with bodily injury.

07/01/24 – 7:20 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Ronald Dickie Mason, 74, Keokuk, in the 700 block of Twin Rivers Drive on a charge of drug trafficking. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/01/24 – 11:19 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested David Alan Londrie, 61, of Keokuk in the 600 block of  S. 7th Street, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug tax stamp violations and drug trafficking. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

According to the report, a vehicle driven by Marjorie May Helwig, 88, of Keokuk failed to yield right of way to a vehicle driven by Tammy F. Varner, 61, of Burnside, Ill., who was traveling westbound in the 800 block of Johnson Street. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and Helwig was cited for failure to yield.

07/08/24 – 6:28 a.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Thomas Christopher Dodge, 57, of Keokuk, in the 3000 block of Main Street on a warrant for failure to appear. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/08/24 – 12:04 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released to a parent.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
06/29/24 – 10:57 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to one-vehicle accident in the 2200 block of 265th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Duane Edward Pickard, 84, of Fort Madison had slid off the side of a bridge and into a creek bed coming to rest on its side. No injuries or citations were reported.
07/01/24 – 3:20 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Donald James Hillman, 46, of Fort Madison at the sheriff’s office on active warrants for voluntary absence from custody and judgment holds. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/01/24 – 11:12 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nicholas Daniel Wyse, 18, of Keokuk, in the 2700 block of 340th Street, on a charge of simple assault. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/02/24 – 11:55 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Benjamin Isaiah Mitchell, 40, of Fort Madison, in the 2800 block of Avenue N, on charges of driving while suspended, no proof of insurance, drug stamp violations, drug trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a warrant for violating a no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.
07/04/24 – 2:06 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Susan Renee Derr, 63, of Keokuk, at Skyview Trailer Park, on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.
07/04/24 – 2:06 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lynn Ann Derr, 57, of Keokuk, at Skyview Trailer Park, on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.
07/04/24 – 2:44 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Danny Ray Derr, 60, of Keokuk, in the 2400 block of 320th Street, on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.
07/04/24 – 3:39 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Christopher Dean Derr, 36, of Keokuk, in the 2400 block of 320th Street, on a charge of simple assault. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/05/24 – 1:30 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Carl Andries, 56, of Burlington, at N. Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on his recognizance.
07/06/24 – 5:53 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Benjamin Isaiah Mitchell, 40, of Fort Madison, at N. Lee County Courthouse, on warrants for violation of probation. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/07/24 – 8:57 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Harold Davis, 68, of Keokuk, at N. Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for a judgment hold. He was held at Lee County Jail.
07/06/24 – 1:32 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at Peach Orchard Road and Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Tiffany P. McCormick, 42, of Chicago failed to yield crossing 61 at Peach Orchard Road and was struck by a semi driven by Robert J. Allard, 62, of Waterloo. Both drivers refused medical treatment. McCormick was cited for failure to yield and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
