10/01/24 – no activity reported.
10/02/24 – 9:59 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested William Henry Palmer, 37, of Albia, in the 400 block of 21st Street on a warrant for parole violation. He was held in Lee County Jail.

Keokuk Police Report
08/27/24 – 10:55 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of High Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Hailey M. Matous, 17, of Keokuk, was northbound on N. 11th Street failed to obey a stop sign at High Street and struck a vehicle driven by Sara Ilene Swan, 40, of Keokuk, and then fled the scene. Matous was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to obey stop sign, and failure to provide proof of insurance. No injuries were reported.
10/01/24 – 11:46 – Keokuk police arrested Kody Michael Saar, 30, of Keokuk, at Belknap and Johnson Street Road, on a warrant out of another agency. He was held in Lee County Jail.
10/01/24 – 2:07 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 300 block of N. Park Drive.
10/01/24 – 2:58 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at N. 3rd Street and Hwy. 136 eastbound. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Austin Deane Salter, 40, of Keokuk was attempting to make a left turn onto Main Street from N. 3rd Street. Salter couldn’t make the turn so he backed up and struck a vehicle behind him driven by Russell Dewayne Swing, 73, of Nauvoo. No injuries were reported. Salter was cited for unsafe backing.
10/01/24 – 10:23 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 500 block of S. 6th Street.
10/02/24 – 11:16 a.m. – Keokuk Police arrested Brian Michael Riley, 63, of Keokuk in the 3800 block of Main Street, on a charge of 5th-degree criminal mischief. He was held in Lee County Jail.
10/02/24 – 11:30 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 700 block of Bank Street.
10/02/24 – 3:12 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 500 block of Blondeau Street.
