Dems' Eppers-O'Malley dinner Oct. 8

KEOKUK - The Lee County Democratic Party is hosting their annual Eppers-O’Malley Dinner on Tuesday, October 8th at Meyers’ Courtyard, 629 Blondeau St., Keokuk. The social hour will be 5:30 — 6:30 p.m. and the program/dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m. Speakers will include Christina Bohannan, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives; State senator Janice Weiner, District 45; Nannette Griffin, candidate for Iowa Senate District 50; and Rita Hart, chair of the Iowa Democratic Party. The Democratic candidates for Lee County offices will also be guests and speaking to the attendees. Sheriff Stacy Weber; Roslyn Garcia, candidate for Lee County Auditor; Ron Fedler, candidate for reelection to Supervisor District 1; Teresa Murray, candidate for Supervisor District 4; and Matt Pflug, candidate for reelection to Supervisor District 5.
 Awards will also be given to volunteers who have made significant contributions to the local party with their time, talents, and dedication.
