Barr Memorial Chapel obituary - Eva B. Heaton-Beach, 83 Denmark

Eva Bernice Heaton-Beach, 83 years, of Denmark, Iowa died Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House, West Burlington, Iowa.  She was born June 21, 1940 at Quincy, Illinois, a daughter of Elva and Anna Bernice (Wood) Heaton.  On April 21, 1963, she married Ernest M. Beach in Missouri and they had three children.  They later divorced.
She graduated from the Memphis Missouri High School in 1958.  She worked for Sheaffer Pen and then retired from Fruehauf Trailer Corp.  She also did a lot of sewing for families in the area.  You could always find her a couple times a day at the Jet Stop Coffee Club.  She loved reading, hummingbirds, mowing and tending to her garden, where she would grow various things, including up to 125 tomato plants.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Eva was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Bryan (Ranee) Beach, of Colusa, Illinois; Kristi Beach and Scott Beach, both of Denmark, Iowa; siblings: Dorva Arbor, of Memphis, Missouri; Dale Heaton; Dorothy Hornung, of Montrose, Iowa; grandchildren: Brandan Beach, A.J. Beach, Lindsay (Jake) Whittaker, Alex Beach, Jade Beach, Jorja Beach and Josie Beach; great granchildren: Owen Beach and Walker Whittaker; step-grandchildren: Kelsey (Ben) Glancy and Chloe (Tanner Perdum) Walker; step great-grandchildren: Charli and Palmer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Kathryn Lovekamp and Vern Heaton.
