The Fort Madison City Council held a Special Meeting at 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at City Hall, 811 Avenue E. Mayor Mohrfeld presided with Council Members Thele, Roller, Gray, Yager, and Rink present. Andrews was absent.
Council members interviewed candidate Jerry Sparrow for the 3rd Ward Council vacancy. On motion, Council adopted Resolution No. 2024-44 appointing Jerry Sparrow as 3rd Ward Council Member, effective July 2, 2024. Mohrfeld then gave the Oath of Office to Sparrow.
The meeting adjourned at 4:59 P.M.
