Vigen Memorial Home obituary – Allen Dean Cline, 62, Keokuk

Allen Dean Cline, 62, of Keokuk, IA died Friday, March 8, 2024 at his home.

He was born April 16, 1961 in Keosauqua, IA the son of Kenneth and Rosemary Kay Cline.

Allen graduated from Central Lee High School with the class of 1979.  

He was employed by Montrose Healthcare Center, Midwest Academy, Hickey Contracting, and BTR in Keokuk.

While in high school he was a member of FFA where he showed horses.

Allen enjoyed collecting western memorabilia such as bits, spurs and bridles.   He also collected western comic books.  He enjoyed attending horse sales and was a good storyteller. 

Allen is survived by one uncle, Charles Cline of Bettendorf, IA, and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

According to his wishes, there will be no services.

Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Saddle Club.

The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA is assisting the family with arrangements.
