Lady Hounds draw Keokuk in post-season opener

LEE COUNTY - Fort Madison’s girls soccer team will open Class 2A regional play at home.
The Bloodhounds play host to Keokuk at the Baxter Sports Complex with a 7 p.m. first-round match on May 19. The winner will play Burlington on May 23 in the semifinals.
Fort Madison swept Keokuk this season, winning 4-0 at Keokuk on April 13 and 1-0 at home on May 1.
Oskaloosa will play at Carlisle on May 19 in the other first-round match. The winner of that will play at Pella on May 23 in the semifinals.
The two semifinal winners will play in the regional final on May 25 at a site to be determined.
Central Lee will play at Mid-Prairie in a 7 p.m. Class 1A regional quarterfinal match on May 17. The winner of that match will play either Van Meter, Centerville or Fairfield at Van Meter in the semifinals on May 23.
Van Meter will play the Centerville-Fairfield winner on May 17. The other side of the bracket has Chariton playing at Panorama and Columbus playing at Pella Christian on May 17, with the winners of those two matches playing in a semifinal at Panorama on May 23.
The two semifinal winners will play in the regional final on May 25.
