Lillias B. Huling, 67, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 7:30 AM at her home.
She was born on March 10, 1956 in Quincy, IL to John and Lillias Boyd Carnes. On September 9, 2007 she married Ralph Sheets in Ft. Madison. Lillias worked in the kitchen at Alpha’s for several years. She enjoyed watching movies, doing puzzles and being outdoors where she could watch birds. Family was her greatest love of all, she especially enjoyed being with them at holidays.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Sheets of Ft. Madison; five children, James (Teresa Brewer) Huling of Denver, IL, Sara (Dennis) Manes of Bushnell, IL, Shawn (Cindy) Huling of Mt. Sterling, IL, Amanda (Dan Miller) Preader of Ft. Madison and Johnathan Huling of Burlington; sixteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Robin (Paul) Benson, Maryann Mustonen, Flora Carnes; two brothers, Harley (Cindi) Carnes and Jimmy Carnes; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; three sisters and two grandchildren.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
