Hickey tapped for SEIRMC board

Keokuk contractor replaces retiring Dave Poland on hospital board.

WEST BURLINGTON - The Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center (SEIRMC) Board of Directors consists of five community business leaders who volunteer their time to guide SEIRMC in fulfilling its mission and vision. 
Dave Poland, a member of the Board of Directors since 2012, retired from the Board in June. Poland first served on the Fort Madison Community Hospital Board of Directors before it became Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.  Mike Hickey will replace Poland.
Mike Hickey was born and raised in Keokuk, Iowa where he resides with his wife Karen. He is President and Owner of Hickey Contracting Company. Hickey is very involved in the Keokuk community and with Lee County organizations. He is an active member of the following Boards of Directors: Connection Bank, Southeast Iowa Regional Economic & Port Authority, Keokuk Economic Development Corporation, Lee County Career Advantage Center, Lee County Charitable Fund, and the Lee County CEO Entrepreneurial Education Program.
The remaining community members serving on the SEIRMC Board of Directors include Joy Rayman Anderson, Neal Dodd, Bob Huffman, and Vicki Stephenson.  Rounding out the SEIRMC Board of Directors is Dr. Doug Henrich, a medical staff leader, and Dr. Michael McCoy, the organization's President.
