Hawks take 4th at WACO Relays

Anderson garners 1st place in 3200 meter event

WAYLAND – The Central Lee boys took 4th place at WACO Tuesday night in a six-team track invitational.

Grant Anderson led the way for the Hawks earning a 1st place in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:36.23.

Senior Tom Eschman capture three second place finishes and a third-place finish to tally heavy points for the Hawks.

Eschman did well in the sprint events getting a 23.96 in the 200, 54.98 in the 400, and jumped 20-7.5 in the long jump all for runner-up spots.

He also took 3rd in the 100 with a time of 11.45. Kegan Damico was 3rd in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:04.67 and the Hawks' 4x100 team of Brayden Wyrick, Grant Myhre, Will Ferris, and Corbin Pohren took 3rd with a time of 47.60.

In the field events, Ostyn Moore was 4th in the shot with a heave of 38-00.5.
