Hawks end season with loss at No. 13 Solon

SOLON – Central Lee’s girls volleyball team wrapped up their season with 3-set loss to Class 3A No. 13 Solon Tuesday night at Solon.
The Hawks fell 25-10, 25-12, 25-14 in Region 8 action.
Taylor Jones had five kills and served 7 for 8 with one ace and had two blocks. Ellie Lake had 12 assist and seven digs to go along with 3-of-4 serving and two kills. Jayden Mueller had 12 digs and served 4 for 4. Josie Newton had three kills, served 8 for 8, had two digs and a block.
Brooklyn Jones served 7 for 8 and had two digs.
The Hawks finished the year 12-26 overall and 0-7 in the Southeast Iowa Superconference.
